Terms & Booking Policies

Last updated August 7, 2026 · Policy version v1.0

These are the plain-language policies for booking mobile detailing with Lou's Delta Detailing. They describe how we work day to day as a small, owner-operated business — they are not legal advice or a guarantee of any particular outcome.

A request is not an appointment

Submitting the form on this site creates a request. It is not a confirmed appointment until Lou's Delta Detailing confirms it with you by text, call, or email. Until then, nothing is booked.

Appointment holds

When you submit a request, the time you asked for is held for about 60 minutes by default so it is not offered to someone else while Lou's Delta Detailing reviews it. If the hold expires before it is confirmed, the slot becomes available again and your request shows as expired. You can always send a new request or text us to pick up where you left off.

Pricing is an estimate

Prices shown on this site and in your request summary are estimates based on the service and add-ons you selected. The final price can change based on vehicle size, condition, pet hair, excessive soiling, driveway access, and what we find during the on-site inspection.

If the scope or price needs to change, we tell you and get your approval before doing the additional work.

Deposits

A deposit may be required for some appointments — typically longer details or new customers. Deposits are arranged and tracked directly with Lou's Delta Detailing.

This website never takes online payment and never collects or stores card, bank, or other financial account information. If a deposit applies to your booking, Lou's Delta Detailing will explain it to you personally.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Please give at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. Mobile detailing reserves a block of driving and working time, so late changes usually cannot be filled.

  • Cancel or reschedule with 48+ hours notice: no problem, and any deposit can normally transfer once to your new date.
  • Late cancellation (under 48 hours) or a no-show: a deposit may be forfeited.
  • Exceptions, refunds, and genuine emergencies are handled directly and reasonably by Lou's Delta Detailing — just talk to us.

No-show

A no-show means the vehicle is not available at the confirmed address and time, no one is reachable within about 15 minutes of arrival, or required access (water spigot, standard outlet, safe working space) is not available so the service cannot be performed.

Vehicle condition, valuables and damage

Before service, please tell us about:

  • Pre-existing damage — chips, scratches, dents, cracked glass, torn upholstery.
  • Aftermarket or sensitive surfaces — wraps, ceramic coatings, tint, custom paint, repainted panels, aftermarket electronics.
  • Hazards — broken glass, sharp objects, biohazards, pests, or loose parts.
  • Anything mechanical or electrical that does not work correctly.

Please remove cash, valuables, and personal items before your appointment. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.

Detailing reveals existing wear and defects; it does not repair them. If any surface cannot be cleaned safely, we stop and tell you instead of pushing ahead. We inspect the vehicle with you before and after where possible, and any concern should be raised at that time.

Photo and video consent

By agreeing at booking, you allow us to take before-and-after photos or short video of the vehicle and use them for our own documentation, portfolio, website, and social media. We do not publish readable license plates, your address, or your personal contact information.

If you would rather we not use your vehicle's photos publicly, just tell Lou's Delta Detailing before the service starts — a simple text is enough, and there is no downside to opting out.

Access and site requirements

Mobile service requires an accessible outdoor water spigot, a standard electrical outlet, and enough safe space to work around the vehicle. If those are not available, let us know in advance so we can plan for it.

Your information

We collect only what we need to schedule and perform the service, and we do not sell personal information. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to these terms

We may update these policies. The version that applied when you booked is recorded with your request, and the current version is shown at the top of this page.
